Testimonials

Jennifer is a creative minded individual with strong vision and leadership skills. Her abilities for community needs analysis and strategic planning have provided great strength to an organization I previously served.
– Jennifer Lohse, Program Director at Tucson Foundations.

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Jennifer both at Raise the Bar and the American Red Cross Southern Arizona Chapter, and both times I was awestruck by her extensive knowledge, her prodigious skill, and her unwavering commitment to ensuring that every project is completed to the highest possible standard. She takes pride in her work, and is not afraid to get her hands dirty to make sure her clients get the very best. With Jennifer and her team of experienced professionals, you are in excellent hands.
– Luke Dumas, California Western School of Law.

Every time I’ve worked with Jennifer, she’s been very responsive, professional and knowledgeable. Her significant experience in the non-profit world added an invaluable dimension to our work together.
– Kirti Khalsa, COO Alzheimer’s Research and Prevention Foundation.

I worked with Jennifer and her team for several years when I first started my global children’s foundation, Building Youth Around the World.  I will always be grateful for their keen insight and sincere desire to help me achieve the best possible end results.  It was because of Raise the Bar that I first learned the incredible nuances of the non-profit world and our foundation is a much better group today because of their help and mentorship.
– Ian McCracken, Founder and Executive Director, Building Youth Around the World.

Jennifer is a very motivated and dedicated professional that cares about people and providing resources to those in need. She is a valuable asset to any organization and I would highly recommend her to any organization.
– Tricia Sweeney, Executive Recruiting Manager at Clark Davis Associates

Jennifer is a particularly powerful networker who understands the value of connections. In my position with a local Tucson nonprofit, I often went to Jennifer for fundraising advice, or to locate the right people for information I needed, or to help me find talent for open positions. She ALWAYS made time for my requests and through her outstanding network quickly facilitated my acquiring whatever it was I needed. I am truly indebted to her for all the time and attention she has given my needs over the years.
– Stefanie Goebel, Cutting Edge Mentoring Programs.

Raise The Bar provides great consulting services and is highly knowledgeable in various areas directly related to our company’s unique business focus. Our company StudyGroupIt (SGI) is not a non-profit, however we do not fit the mold of a typical For-Profit company either. SGI considers its self a “Educational Social Enterprise.” I specifically worked with RTB for their expertise in grant writing and their deep connections in education. The time I spent working with RTB was very helpful and provided SGI with a great information about the requirements for successful grant preparation as well as our first opportunity to present our services for feedback to a major school district. Thank you, Jennifer!
– Terryl Robinson, Owner, StudyGroupIt.

Her passion was evident when we worked on the American Red Cross Southern Arizona Chapter’s website together; the work she did and the level of knowledge she possessed both about the mission and the technology was a blessing.
– Chuck Talk, Premier Support Engineer at Atlassian.

After the BLM movement responded to the George Floyd murder, Jennifer was one of the few people who openly began a discourse of how did we get here and what do we do moving forward? Jennifer is not about performative allyship so she created courageous conversations with industry experts and BIPOC individuals. While other white people pretended to have the answers, Jennifer sought out the answers. I am grateful for her counsel and friendship!
– Edna Meza-Aguirre JD,CFRE
