In addition to unique engagements, Raise the Bar Consulting offers our Consulting Cafe in virtual and in-person formats as a forum to discuss topics, trends and practices to help support the work you do. Our team is always inspired to offer engaging and unique sessions that range from spaces to “talk shop” to specific skill building seminars. In 2020 and 2021, we featured three series focused on Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Access and Justice (DEIAJ), alternative models of leadership, and ways to make your work even more successful. We called them Courageous Conversations , Getting More Courageous, and Upping Your Game, respectively. Many of our sessions are on our YouTube Channel for you to watch anytime. Courageous Conversations Series
In the wake of the George Floyd killing, Jennifer Tersigni and her team at Raise the Bar Consulting wanted to do more than simply put out a statement supporting our commitment to social and racial justice. So we convened a group of our colleagues to facilitate courageous conversations about the ways all of us can learn and do better in our quest for justice and for leveling playing fields. Cynthia Wasco coordinated the thought-provoking, interesting and respectful series and Raise the Bar hosted all sessions. The sessions were amazing, and the response was overwhelming and positive, so we’ve posted them for the public. You can watch the sessions here.
